Pupil Premium

Your child maybe eligible to receive a Pupil Premium grant of up to £1320.00 per annum. This grant would enable your child to have free school meals, regardless of the year they are in, and 90% off extra-curricular clubs at John Ball School. If your child is entitled to this money then they will also be entitled to school residential trips at a reduced cost. 

You will be entitled to Pupil Premium funding if you are in receipt of any of the following benefits.

• Universal Credit
• Income Support
• Income-based Jobseekers Allowance or Employment and Support Allowance
• Child Tax Credit – net earnings threshold of £7,400.00 from April 2018
• Guarantee element of pension credit
• Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999

An application for Pupil Premium will confirm whether you are eligible and allow the school to claim the funding.
