Wraparound and Holiday Childcare

Superkids provide a Breakfast Club and After School club for children aged 4 -11 years old who attend John Ball Primary school. The purpose of the club is to provide families with an outstanding childcare option before and after school that is safe, reliable and fun. During holidays and some inset days, we also offer a full day Playscheme service at John Ball school.

Children can participate in a range of fun and freely chosen activities aimed at the development and stimulation of children within the safety of the school premises. Our activities are based in the KS1 hall, superkids room, KS1 playground with group games in the KS2 hall. We also have a lovely room and balcony in the early years building especially for children in Reception class and nursery children who attend lunch club. Children are supervised at all times by DBS checked staff who are qualified and experienced staff.

Our staff team, led by Jessica, is friendly, enthusiastic and fully committed to providing a safe and secure environment for your children.

Our daily program has a variety of activities for all children, from sports, team activities and group challenges, educational games, home corner, role play, construction, imaginary play and lots of art, creative and sensory opportunities. In addition, we offer ICT, cultural activities and themed weeks. Our program is carefully selected to help children practice social skills, enhance their development and increase their independence.

Breakfast club: 7.30am – 9am. £5.50 per morning. We provide a varied healthy, Wake Me Up! breakfast for your child, ranging from multigrain cereals, yogurts, fruits, bagels, waffles, pancakes and toast. KS2 children are escorted to their lines by Superkids staff.  Children in reception and KS1 are seen safely into their classrooms.

After school club: 3.15pm – 6pm. £12 per afternoon. We provide a healthy snack with fruit, vegetables and fresh water daily. Vegan and vegetarian options are available every day. Please inform us if your child has any dietary requirements.

Holiday Playscheme: 7.30am -6pm. £24-£26 per day. Our activity programmes are full to bursting with exciting activities and trips. We provide children with breakfast and afternoon snack, however a packed lunch is required. Online bookings can be made on Superkids website.

Lunch Club: 11.30am-12.30pm. £5.50 per session. Based in the early years room above reception class, we provide a fun and relaxing session where children are encouraged to develop their independence whilst eating their packed lunch with others in preparation for starting school. Children have the opportunity for free play and story time to settle them down for the afternoon session. Lunch club can be used for children attending the full day at nursery or to extend the am or pm session. You will need to supply the packed lunch.
